Today you guys get to see the mani I'm actually wearing!... like right now, at this very moment. Are you all excited?! I know I am!.. </unnecessary sarcasm>
Ok I'm going to be honest, I suck at doing half moon manis. I guess they're cute if done right, so maybe I just need practice. Also decided to break out the Crackle polishes today! Underneath all those cracks are my horrible failed first attempt at magnetic polish, something else I'm going to have to practice with. hah
I thought this was ok, but decided to get really fancy and break out the matte top coat too!
I mattified everything except for the half moon, glittery part because, of course, I wanted to keep the bling!
What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Magnetix Attraction
Crackle: China Glaze Crackle Cracked Concrete and Fault Line
Glitter Half Moon: Color Club Magic Attraction
Matte: China Glaze Matte Magic

Beautiful Freakin' Day = Holo OD!
It's finally super beautiful out here, and not cloudy or grossly humid, so I'm breaking out some holo!
I just got Rated Holographic last weekend at my favorite dusty store, and I had to try it out. I also received the new Bundle Monster plates, so I also had to try out my favorites from the set. Which of course was skulls and tiger (??) stripes. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, minus a small screw up stamping the skull.
I only have these two in the Kaleidoscope collection, and I have to say I am semi let down by Rated Holographic". It's definitely way more of a scattered holo, and you need a lot of direct light to really see any of the holo effect. Whereas He's Going In Circles, is beautiful! I can even see some of the linear holo effects in dim interior lighting. Meh, I guess it happens sometimes...
Ohhh Sidenote- I've been using Nail Tek 2 to try and strengthen and grow out my nail, cause they are breaking like bitches all the time lately! I've read some good reviews, and am really hoping this works. I'll keep you all informed...
What I Used:
Colors: China Glaze He's Going In Circles
China Glaze Rated Holographic
Stamps: BM-223 (Stripes), Sinful Colors Black on Black
BM-225 (skulls), Konad Special Polish White

My Favorite Mani... EVER???
Ok so I'm fully addicted to this mani. I did it over a month ago a feel like I have dreams about it. haha Can we also call this a "Royal Wedding" mani, since it's blue?? OK, so I must confess, despite by serious England obsession, I pretty much was over this whole wedding. Then all of a sudden yesterday I became overly interested, and I had a pretty awesome idea for an amazing mani to do for it. But alas I had no time to do it yesterday.. oh well I'll have to do it later for fun.
On to this mani.. Neons and frickin turquoise!!! Oh and some holo spots for extra fun... This is why I love this so much!
What I Used:
Color: Milani Neons Fresh Teal
Stamp: Konad M57
Wet n' Wild Nocturnal
Spots: China Glaze He's Going in Circles
T/C: Seche Vite

It's a fact computers hate neon colors.
This nail polish doesn't look at all like this:
...or this for that matter.
...or this for that matter. That being said I have a hell of a lot of pictures today, because they all captured this hot pink in a different way, but none of them quite like how they look in real life. For this mani I started with 1 coat of my favorite nude polish Sally Hansen nailgrowth Miracle in Innocent Nude, freehanded some China Glaze Pink Voltage on the tips, and topped that all off with China Glaze Shooting Stars.
Definitely a bit bright, and maybe more for Summer than Spring, but for me it's never too early to break out the hot pink polish. heh

Recycled Leopard
Being a broke, lazy (read:busy) college student I don't always have the time, or patience to do a new mani every day (although believe me I'd love to!), though my short attention span leaves me bored of a mani after about a day. What's a girl to do?
Recycle!
As you'll see, I am a big fan of mani recycling. Maybe this is "cheating" to post these on my blog, but hopefully it may give you guys some ideas on how to change up a mani without completely changing a mani.

Purple Holo AND Leopard!!
Oh man, I haven't posted a mani since Monday! Sorry people had a crazy week, I took pictures but haven't had the chance to post them.
I'm loving my current mani so much that I've been wearing it for three whole days! hah I feel like this is a record for me.. I generally get bored after a day or two at the max. I did do a little recycling with it (I tend to recycle my manis a lot, because I get bored easily, and have no time lately), which I think I'll show tomorrow. I used Color Club's Fashion Addict for the base color, and it is a totally gorgeous holo! It's my third Color Club polish and I am thoroughly addicted! It was relatively opaque with one coat, but I did two anyway.
Anyway here she is:
I used another Color Club holo Wild at Heart for the stamping, which worked surprisingly well!
What I used:
Base Coat: OPI's Nail Envy
Base Color: Color Club Fashion Addict
Stamp Color: Color Club Wild at Heart
Plate: m57
T/C: Seche Vite

Yay picture!!
Ok, so I have a serious backlog of pictures of manis at the moment because I had planned on starting this blog about a month ago.. but alas life got in the way.
So anyway...
When I went to my local Sally's they had the $4.99 China Glaze sale, and I was stoked to find a whole display full of Tronica polishes, but as we all know now, they kinda suck! grrr!! All I wanted was a good linear holo!.. in fact a good holo at all (I have now found a few). The only one that I found actually had any linear holo at all in the batch that I bought (of Techno Teal, Virtual Violet, Hologram and Electric Magenta) was Hologram. No pics of it, cause frankly there are already pics of this collection all over the blogs, but I do have a pic of my stamping attempt with these "holos".
Ok so here's the deal...
Base: A Sally Hansen I can't find at the moment (shocker)
Plate: BM21
Stamp: A tricolor stamp of Techno Teal, Electro Magenta, and Virtual Violet
Tips: Sinful Colors Black on Black (with the scotch tape type deal)
Topcoat: Seche Vite (<3)
