Colorful tips with some crack

So I recently was organizing my computer and came across a whole graveyard of pictures of manis I never posted! I don't want them to go to waste so I'm going to post them now, enjoy the first installment of the series.
This is going to be a challenge to remember all the polishes I used, but I think I can do it.
The tips are a little weird because I did this after a few days of wear.

What I Used:

Base Color: China Glaze-Refresh Mint

Crackle: China Glaze-Cracked Concrete

Tips: China Glaze-Peachy Keen

Broken Hearted.. Tutorial & Late Pink Wednesday

I'm not personally broke hearted, it's just what I'm calling this tutorial. As soon as I saw this was named "Broken Hearted" this idea popped into my head. I feel silly calling this a tutorial, because it's a little lame, but oh well. I have to work on my "tutorial skills. I also made this tutorial almost a year ago, and just realized I never published it! Finally finishing it now, just in time for Valentines day -_- haha

Yay for Broken hearts!

Step 1- Paint super glittery base coat. I used Color Club Magic Attraction, because well it's holo and I love it.

Step 2- Top with a coat of China Glaze Crackle Broken Hearted

Step 3- When crackle layer is completely dry, top with heart sticker or even tape cut out in the shape of a heart. The important part of this step is to make sure the sticker/tape is flush with nail.

Step 4- Top with black polish, I used OPI DS Illuminate. Before polish dries, use tweezers to remove sticker.

As you can see I just did this as an accent nail on my thumb, and painted the rest with OPI DS Illuminate

Challenge #6 (aka #1)-Half Moon

Today you guys get to see the mani I'm actually wearing!... like right now, at this very moment. Are you all excited?! I know I am!.. </unnecessary sarcasm>

Ok I'm going to be honest, I suck at doing half moon manis. I guess they're cute if done right, so maybe I just need practice. Also decided to break out the Crackle polishes today! Underneath all those cracks are my horrible failed first attempt at magnetic polish, something else I'm going to have to practice with. hah

 I thought this was ok, but decided to get really fancy and break out the matte top coat too!

 I mattified everything except for the half moon, glittery part because, of course, I wanted to keep the bling!

What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Magnetix Attraction
Crackle: China Glaze Crackle Cracked Concrete and Fault Line
Glitter Half Moon: Color Club Magic Attraction
Matte: China Glaze Matte Magic

It's Still Wednesday Somewhere!

So, it's not technically Wednesday in my time zone at the moment, but I still wanted to get my Pink Wednesday on.
Can we just ignore a few things about this post?
Namely:
-the fact that I have some serious tip wear
-how dry and gross my fingers are
-the lack of proper cleanup on my ring finger
-how sad my little nubbins pinky looks
I did this bad boy a while ago, forgot to take a picture immediately after I did it, but really loved it, was in a hurry (it was finals time) so I quickly snapped a few photos with my p&s. So please forgive all of the above, I just hope you guys like it and it inspires you on some level..

The Return of Hello Kitty!

Smelly polishes and neons, what could be more Summer than that?! I have to say, although these Color Club polishes are super streaky, and take at least 3 coats I still LOVE them! Maybe I'm just a sucker for  gimmick...

I love this stamp so much! I still  cannot believe I got it for free!

Finally some free time... time to update my blog

Sorry everyone, I have been insanely busy with school and had zero time to think let alone update my blog.  I am finally done though, and have now decided to update my blog because it's really getting sad now. hah
I did this mani forever ago, and it's kinda late so for now I'm going to guess at the polishes I used and perhaps I'll fix it up tomorrow... for now enjoy some more cracky goodness...

Black Crack..hehe

Black and silver is one of my favorite color combinations (OK let's face it black and anything is my favorite color combo, but for arguments sake for today it's black and silver). Even though this is a really simple mani, I absolutely love it! I actually did this quite a while ago, but looking at it now makes me want to have it on my nails again, right now! hah
The base color for this is Wet n' Wild Slivivor, and this color is insane! I swear it is slightly mirror-esque. Wet n' Wild in general has seriously stepped up their game. I have recently accumulated a decent amount of their eyeshadow pallets and they are (almost) all great! Super pigmented, and with primer lasts all day with little to no creasing. For the costs of these babies it's such an amazing steal! Can you guys tell I love makeup too? hah
...But I digress, back to nails.

If I remember correctly in order to get the Black Mesh to crack like this I had to shake the bottle really well in between painting each nail. I also think I did a relatively thick coat.

Mmm... Hot pink and Crackle

Another recycle jobby I did.. I love the hot pink polish under the black crackle! It looks really great on the whole nail too and not just the tips. I did this on my toes a few weeks back and left it for a whole week! *gasp* I'd taken pictures, but I don't want to scare people with my weird toes..
Alright here goes, recycled from this mani from a few days ago :

Doing the Crackle on the tips wasn't totally successful, but I will definitely try it again.  I think the nail that turned out the most like what I was going for was the thumb..
